About FlamingText

FlamingText has been helping people create logos and graphics online for more than 25 years.

Our goal has always been pretty simple: make graphic design tools that are fast, useful and easy to use, directly in your browser. No software to install and no design experience required.

FlamingText is best known for its Logo Design Tool, with a huge collection of customisable logo styles and text effects. We also build other graphics tools, including Creator.me and AddText.

Who's Behind FlamingText?

Hi, I'm Cameron Gregory. I started FlamingText with my friend and still develop and run it today from sunny Brisbane, Australia.

I'm a software developer that has worked in finance, telecom, research, cloud, AI startups and big data. I spend most of my "spare" time playing volleyball, and building graphics software. FlamingText started in the early days of the web and has grown from a simple online logo generator into a collection of graphics tools used by people around the world.

I'm still very hands-on with FlamingText — writing code, building new graphics effects and tools, keeping the 30 servers running in 5 different countries!

Our Philosophy

We like tools that are useful without being complicated. You should be able to visit FlamingText, make something you like, and get on with whatever you were trying to do.

A lot has changed on the web since FlamingText began, but that's still what we're trying to build.

We are community minded, and locally we support beach volleyball, MND Research, and the local community leagues club.

Translations

Although the translations are now mostly automatic, a shout-out to the original versions that were manually translated with help from people around the world. If you notice a translation problem or would like to help with a translation, please contact us.
